Kpop group Stray Kids has put a cameo of Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds in the teaser for its upcoming music video. The actor has been a fan of the group, and they’ve even collaborated before by promoting Free Guy back in 2021.

Stray Kids released a short 39-second teaser trailer of the music video for the song “Chk Chk Boom.” It features the group members around New York City while Reynolds is providing voiceover as a newscaster. “Chk Chk Boom” is the lead single for the group’s nineth mini-album, ATE, which is scheduled for release on July 19.

Stray Kids member Felix dressed as Deadpool during a performance, which captured the attention of Reynolds, thus starting their friendship together. Now, both Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman are promoting Deadpool & Wolverine in South Korea, with the pair even making an appearance at the 2024 Waterbomb Festival in Seoul, a water-themed music event with water guns. Both Reynolds and Jackman have filmed content with Stray Kids, so it’s possible that more could be on its way.

Dead Pool & Wolverine is set to release in theaters on July 26. It takes place six years after the events of Deadpool 2, where mercenary Wade Wilson has left the Deadpool life behind him. However, he gets pulled into a new mission, and with the Time Variance Authority and Wolverine involved, the movie connects Deadpool with both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and 20th Century Fox X-Men movies.
